Plan for a 15-30 minute waiting period required after COVID vaccination if you are receiving your first COVID vaccine.

Please READ: IMPORTANT COST INFORMATION

Appointments are required to receive the new COVID-19 vaccine. Your out-of-pocket costs will depend on your prescription insurance coverage provider. Vaccines are no longer offered free, but with many insurance carriers, the cost is covered with no out-of-pocket costs. Please note: If there is a copay associated with your vaccine through your prescription coverage, you will be responsible for the copay.

You must bring your prescription insurance card that you would use at your pharmacy. This card can be identified by the BIN # on the card. Your insurance company’s coverage for vaccines should be the same at Student Health as it would at other community pharmacies like CVS or Walgreens.

TriCare and Medicaid Insurance carriers WILL HAVE an out-of-pocket cost for COVID vaccine at Student Health. Tricare and Medicaid carriers may be able to receive COVID vaccine at Walgreens or CVS without an out-of-pocket cost. Check with your insurance carrier or local pharmacy.

Students with International Student Insurance (ISO) plans will have an out-of-pocket cost for COVID vaccine.
