All registered students can receive care. We are in-network with MedCost, Student Blue, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. Insurance is billed when information is on file at the time of your visit.

If you do not have Student Blue, upload the front and back of your current insurance card to the My Niner Health Portal (under the Insurance Details section) and bring your card (or a digital copy) to your appointment. Student Blue members do not need to upload a card.

Insurance information is used for lab services, referrals, and pharmacy services. Any charges not covered by your insurance are your responsibility. 

Please review and sign the Patient Financial Responsibility Form on the My Niner Health portal before your first appointment. Go to the Student Health Portal. 

Student Health is not a Medicaid or Medicare provider. 

All students can use Student Health services. There is no cost to see our providers. However, there are charges for lab, x-ray, pharmacy, allergy shots and special procedures. Since we are not a Medicaid or Medicare provider, students will be responsible for these charges.

Pharmacy: Medicaid will pay for prescriptions filled at the Pharmacy, if written by a Medicaid provider.
