FOR AFTER-HOURS NURSE ADVICE BY PHONE CALL 704-687-7400
In order to provide UNC Charlotte students continuous access to nursing advice, Student Health contracts with FoneMed, an after-hours nursing phone service. FoneMed is staffed by nurses, who will offer nursing advice for acute illness and/or injury experienced during times when Student Health is not open (on evenings, weekends and university holidays).
FoneMed nurses do NOT have access to medical records at Student Health. The after-hours service CANNOT provide prescription refills or schedule appointments at Student Health.
