Please READ: IMPORTANT COST INFORMATION
Appointments are required to receive the new COVID-19 vaccine. Your out of pocket costs will depend on your prescription insurance coverage provider. Vaccines are no longer offered free, but with many insurance carriers, the cost is covered with no out of pocket costs. Please note: If there is a copay associated with your vaccine through your prescription coverage, you will be responsible for the copay.
You must bring your prescription insurance card that you would use at your pharmacy. This card can be identified by the BIN # on the card. Your insurance company’s coverage for vaccines at locations like CVS or Walgreens should be the same coverage at the Health Center campus clinics.
TriCare and Medicaid Insurance carriers may be able to receive COVID vaccine at Walgreens or CVS without an out-of-pocket cost. Check with your insurance carrier or local pharmacy.
People who are 18 years or younger who are insured by Medicaid or are uninsured or underinsured can get vaccines at no cost through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program, which offers vaccines to eligible children through age 18.
The state will also receive a limited supply of free vaccines for uninsured or underinsured adults through the federal Bridge Access Program. These vaccines will be distributed to safety net providers like Community Health Centers and local health departments and to pharmacies participating in the Bridge Access Program.
